CHALLENGES
This could be one of the biggest challenges of the season for Alabama. They are facing a well-coached and dangerous team on its home field. Back in 1980, the then unheralded Bulldogs hosted the two-time defending national champion Crimson Tide, coached by legendary Paul "Bear" Bryant. Mississippi State came away 6-3 winners in a thriller. The Tide had driven to the State 4-yard line in the final moments of the game. However, a Bulldogs linebacker forced a fumble which ended the game. Coach Bryant visited the Mississippi State locker room after the game to give congratulations to the winners. This week Bama cannot overlook State. This MSU team is much better and well-coached than that 1980 Bulldog squad. Anything less than 100 percent effort could be dangerous for the Tide.

Saturday's game kicks off at 6 pm CT and can be seen on ESPN.
